My Name is Sharon Shumpert I am a Native of Washington DC. I moved here to South Carolina when I was 13 years old. I have 2 siblings, 2 children, and 2 grandsons.

I found my passion for the Nursing field when my mother took ill when I was 26 years old. I started caring for my mother when she was ill. She passed away in 1996. That’s when I realized I had a heart for caring for people. So, I decided to attend CNA School (Certified Nursing Assistance). I have been a CNA for 22 years, up until 2021.

I took pride in my work. I find joy in caring for patients and assisting them with meeting their needs.

I recently obtained my certification in Medical Billing and Coding. I attended the University of Phoenix for my Bachelor’s in Health Science Management. Some of the accolades I have received are Certified Professional Coder, AED certified CPR certification, Certified CNA, Medical Coding Certification, Certified Home Health Care, BLS Certified, and how pursuing my Bachelor’s.
